Pattaya water now swimmable?

I took out a one-month rent at one of the View Talays, only to discover their swimmingpool is closed. Weren't hotel swimming pools supposed to be allowed to stay open for hotel guests?

At the same time I see more people swimming at the beach. From a distance the water looks more normal than it did before the downturn.

I thought the View Talays were condos and not hotels? Might be wrong but I suspect you are a not a hotel guest as such. Air BNB?

Swimming in your toilet, is probably cleaner! I would not swim in the dead sea, sewage is being pumped into it daily!!

I was told it's not the water in the pool. It's different people using the pool. Like hand rails toilets any thing a person can touch...

. That can transfer the virus on hands etc

Fascinating. Were you also told she had only been at the bar two weeks?

Have people in Pattaya stopped flushing their toilets?

More accurately, we have stopped having people in Pattaya.

If you don't mind occasional floaters in the water.Been like that since 2004 when I got here. At least swimming pools have chlorine to kill the bacteria. Doable but not sure how healthy it is plus all the chemical runoff from roundup & such empties right into the ocean.
