Foodland - no shopping carts

Foodland supermarket Latphao today had only plastic hand baskets for shopping - anywhere else removed them?  Sure not pleasant for us elders with bad backs.  ????

I have to take a trolley in my supermarkets in the Netherlands it's to enforce separation.TIT.

MaxValu removed all the baskets when I went there a week or so ago also. I saw them in the "kitchen" section, where it looked like they were being washed...

Foodland Ramindra / Ramindra 31 BKK ... April 6, 8:00 am

Shopping carts OK. All aisles opened. Alcohol sold at legal hours, as usual. All the Foodlands in Bangkok open at 4:00 am.

Perhaps I hit at the wrong time and they had all undergoing a wash (as someone noted at another location).  Carts are rather important to us older folks as also offer stability as well as saving backs.
