That is not necessarily a snidy comment as you put it, Some foreigners do apply for Thai citizenship,

Ok ..no probs..so do you have any information that could help me...as I'm not going to apply for Thai Citizenship.

If you can't become a Thai then you can put it in a Thai person's name. They own the land for you.

They prefer you do not if you are not Thai.  Plenty of people still do through loopholes, and its tolerated, but not black and white.

The info is you can't own land as a foreigner only lease it for up to 30 years if agreed by the owner or owners.
