I am in a moo-ban.  There must be 250 houses here and I only know of one other farang in the whole place.  My street of 20 houses are all Thai.

Not every Moo Baan is the same, there are those with most Chinese, those with mostly Europeans, those with mostly Thai, those that are totally mixed.

If I were to go for a Moo Ban I'd go for a small one with mostly European which have their own pool. Sharing a pool with Chinese or Thai extended families would be my idea of hell.

They are not antisocial in the least?

You may want to tell my neighbour who is running his power tools non-stop, burning his garbage and playing loud music all the time.

Or my other neighbour who keeps five dogs, all loose, that let off a howling concert every other night and urinate and defaecate everywhere at will.

But of course keeping dogs loose is not a Thai practice, not at all, that's of course my fault for not making an effort...

Thanks for your well thought out input man!

I was referring to anti social as in not being social.  My Thai neighbours are extremely social, friendly, considerate.

Seems you are surrounded by idiots.
