Pipat had nothing but praise for his fellow Thais and medical personnel.

I'm sure after this media release, the sentiment is not mutual.

Just where does he think tourists will be coming from in around November? Also, has he perhaps engaged his brain and thought about the risks of allowing tourists to enter the country?

Unfortunately, as soon as borders are reopened then the problem starts again.

Of course, Thailand has done very well to stem an epidemic, but in doing so it has left the population somewhat vulnerable to imported infection.

That's if you accept the hypothesis Thailand does not have either herd immunity or environmental factors in operation.

Maybe Q4 next year 2021. Maybe not.

Doesn't really matter what market they aim at, both domestic and international tourism will be almost non-existing, because most people around the world has been without work. No work equal no money. Natives has already sold their gold.

They also seem to forget that many countries will Not allow international travel for a very long time ahead.

No matter TAT will count everyone who steps through their front door as a domestic tourist so business will be booming the moment they ease the restrictions.
