phoning my bank in the uk

Depending on how long you want to talk for and if your UK mobile is unlocked just pop a Truemove Sim into phone and ring landlines in UK at 1 Baht a minute (plus vat).

If not just go into any travel agent (if open) who'll likely charge 10 baht a minute to UK landlines

i need to phone my bank.

If it is only a singular need to call:

what provider do you use? (AIS, DTAC, True...)?

Each provider has some budget access to foreign countries.

Last time I looked in such topic is was about 5 or 6 Baht/minute to UK and other European countries.

Besided that there are kind of calling cards etc. Maybe someone knows the details.

Dual sim phone, 1 sim is the uk phone to receive, the other is Thai sim to phone UK.

That's the best way I have found over the years. If you knw its going to be a long call, tell them to phone you back.(on your Thai number)

Skype is 2.3 cents per minute to UK, it says so at https://www.skype.com/en/international-calls/United Kingdom#

Perhaps you would care to explain what was so hilarious about my earlier post in thread ??

Seeing as one off I actually used a travel agent in 2016 for 7 baht a minute for 2 minutes to a landline in the UK and its been 1 baht a minute via Truemove (to landlines) since at least 2013 I cannot for the life of me see the hilarity it caused you ??

I had to call my bank a week ago, unfortunately due to Corona they are limited

to what they can do on the phone and have very few staff Manning the lines

I must have spent 4 hours or more listening to the intermittent messages to

use the online services before speaking to someone, this was Santander if that

makes any difference.
