Thai national parks: No tourists so the "happy" animals come out of hiding!

The public relations page of the national parks of Thailand reported that wild animals were increasingly coming out after all the nation's parks were shut down because of the coronavirus crisis.

The Khao Yai park - Thailand's oldest in the central area of the kingdom - was seeing sun bears, elephants and deer populating places where they are rarely seen when tourists are around. Many other species were also more visible.

The page called the animals "happy" now there was no one around invading their habitats.

Lets keep the parks people free for the rest of the year at least. Proof of what the greedy park management should do, have people free times during the year.

Or just manage the numbers of visitors better. But that would mean less money, so it's a non starter...

Those happy animals aren't paying 400 baht.

I'll let them know the happy tourists will be back soon.

smile animals, and next time bring some cash.

the animals "happy" now there was no one around invading their habitats.

When we human parasites are gone the other animals that we have not made extinct will do as we are seeing now, retake and roam the world free again.

Best post since this entire overblown overreaction started! Made me LOL and nod in total agreement.

Perhaps underwater, and bathed in radiation.
