I have passed by my close neighbors house with the solid green gate for the past 19 years and I have only seen him leaving by the small door on his bicycle. Today the green gate was fully open and as I passed there is a 70's BMW 2002tii absolutely pristine in the carport.

Wow! If you have a decent relationship with him, take a couple of photographs. Many interesting cars lurking around, some taken care of and some gently rotting away.
