Don't be mean to elephants.

Featured Replies

I saw this elephant on the roadside, but had no food to offer, so took a photo and moved on, got into the hills and suddenly my chain came off the sprocket, couldn't fix it myself, u need more than a pair of hands, so eventually a lorry came by and the guys jumped out to help me, got the chain back on, and then they told me there was a bike shop just 1Km down the road, unbelievable out here in the jungle.

So off I toddle slowly and the guy there helps me out straightaway, tightens up my chain, and won't accept any payment of any kind, and I am happily on my way.

The moral is don't <deleted> off an elephant or they will put a curse on you.

They are also quite capable of picking you up and smashing you against a tree which may be more painful than the curse.

Great that you got sorted, but how loose was that chain?

It was extremely loose, very remiss of me not to check, because all Honda CB's, CBR's have  this tendency for the chain to loosen too easily and regularly.

I did keep one eye on the elephant as I was mounting my bike, 'cos he looked a bit cheesed off.
