Can anyone advise where I can download this radio play, have tried BBC but no success ?

Have you tried the BBC Sounds app? It's available for iPhone and iPad. Not sure about Android.

It shows it as available in the app. See screenshot below.

Yes I saw that, not sure if all episodes are available.
I prefer to download and listen at leisure.
Afraid I've not upgraded to a Smart phone, I use a laptop.

Like listening to plays and comedy in the evening, ( have recently had an eye op anyway so don't watch TV series at the moment ).

Not sure if you are in to radio series but Welcome To Our Village, Please Invade Carefully is an excellent British sitcom from 2012.
