Inter-provincial bus company, Transport Co Ltd, announced on Tuesday (May 26) that it was keeping all services to the South suspended, especially since the country will be under the state of emergency until June 30.

It did not say when services will resume. Transport Co was expected to resume bus services from Bangkok to Koh Samui, Phuket and Trang from June 1.

The Cabinet decided on Tuesday to extend state of emergency in line with measures to control the spread of Covid-19.

Just keep the country in a state of emergency forever. My gosh what is wrong with this country? Vietnam is nearly 100% back to business and Thailand keeps on destroying the economy. For what? To turn it into a tropical North Korea?

So they do realise where the problem is.......

You are referring to the leader,s here I assume........

They have to make more room on bus - so fewer passengers per trip - but price is set - so just stop service.  Time for government to act I would think.

As far as the South goes that's already true. The state of emergency over the southern provinces has been renewed for the last 16 years.
