Those selfish dummies are going to point to Cummings as the reason they can be selfish.

Your golden boy just made lockdown unenforceable.

'What aboutism' the refuge of unknowing young children and selfish dummies - what is it I am not getting again?

When parliament closed Blackford went home. Its what he was supposed to do.

Why do you have this fixation with Blackford? You think his actions are comparable to Cummings?

Keep clutching those straws.

It speaks absolute volumes about how utterly desperate these cult members are to try to protect their leader. A blind man's dog could see how pathetic their attempts at smear are, but when you are on the bones of your erse and have not a whit of a defence, then you will rely on anything to try to deflect damage away from the dear leader.

I don't recall Cummins using 'what aboutism' as an excuse? as you suggest millions of other selfish dummies are about to do?

he used quite a few obviously nonsense excuses and several lies. But you are correct, no whataboutism.

('#might' and '#might have' are currently trending on twitter)

So that’s it then. Nothing more to see here, move along canny lads. You can put all your self righteous indignation away for the next leftist press, MSM, and BBC furore.

Dominic is far too busy getting us past the post on a No Deal Brexit. While he and Boris were away, the Remainer dirty tricks dept took advantage of the power vacuum. He’s now got the LibDem private member’s bill (extending transition) to quash. Much more important than purely political faux outrage.

Agreed - that is important. The Northern Irish have already woken up to the fact they have been sold a pig in an poke; the fishermen are starting to realise that they have been lied to as well. There is already enough dissent across the UK to see it weakened beyond hope - just a little bit more of Uncle Dom's magic Brexit sauce and we can bring the whole thing down once and for all.

Uncle Dom is working his political magic.  Right before your very eyes, and there’s nothing you can do about it!!

He now beats the Remainers at every turn and they hate it, so they hate him even more. He’ll carry on with reform of the civil service and BBC next. What will their next witch hunt be based on - parking tickets or something?

When you say “...bring the whole thing down...” I don’t think you meant it, but is that a Freudian slip for the EU’s imminent demise?

Different, much more shoddy union ????

Boris doesn't like being asked dim Dom, if these these reporters were in the room he wouldn't be able to cut them off like he does.

So Durham police have said he broke the law but they are doing nothing about it?

What about all the other people who have been fined for breaking the same law?

Will they be getting their money back?

Lockdown is now unenforceable. UK just do as you want and point to Cummings as an example.

So just because you have the hump about Cummings you condone breaking all lockdown rules, and ruining all the progress that's been made against the spread of the virus?

I really don't understand people who have this attitude ????

Well, two neighbours have friends around their gardens tonight and the rules don't change until Monday. I would say people are doing whatever they want after the Cummings saga, which is why he should have been fired!

I love it when Boris cuts them off. These reporters each have a precious time slot to ask pertinent questions about our government's efforts to defeat the Covid 19 virus. To help us the public gain a better understanding.

If they choose to use their precious time slot to ask childish and unoriginal questions like "Professor, would you recommend driving for 60 miles to test your eyesight", then more fool them.

Most healthy people with common sense have been seeing friends or family (while social distancing) for a long time. Only the extremely vulnerable along with the frightened rabbits have kept themselves locked up in a box.

And the extremely vulnerable and the frightened rabbits will stay that way until they're told otherwise.

The frightened rabbits who walk in the road when I'm walking along the footpath are the worst, the police have said not to do it as it's dangerous. Obviously they don't bother reading that you need at least 10 to 15 minutes in close contact with someone to catch it. The worst part of these numpties is that the infection rates where I live are minimal and they don't bother enlightening themselves by reading some information.

I don't do the new normal, just act as I did before, but no sitting in a bar????????????

Too many frightened rabbits out there unfortunately. This crisis has uncovered a new bunch of human categories:

The vulnerable - I feel for them

The frightened rabbits - hanging on every word of the government advice. Their stress levels must be through the roof!

The common sensers - this is me, not hiding away, but exercising caution (and some consideration for the rabbits)

The don't give a sh .. ers - they'll lick the rabbits' faces and laugh if they get a chance

I might start a new thread about this ????

The common sensers

Common sense is a very relative concept, and thus in many ways interpretable.

If the people with power has a different opinion of what common sense is than yourself have, it may create repercussions.

'GREAT" Britain was already passed when the European colony of ( Southern) Ireland left.

The waiting is when the other European colonies break away: Northern Ireland, Scotland, and ( N+S)Wales, to form the Gaelic (con)federation. As one is still EU member, all others are automatically in too.

Cummings still on the front page of several newspapers.

Not sure this latest slogan of "Lets move on" is going to work.

How come that the puppet master, Rasputin Cummings was unable to find a child carer in the whole of London?

Because his only friend outside his family is Boris and he wasn't feeling well.

Can you imagine living in London and being totally bereft of any friends?

Finding one might not have been the issue, but having to open his bulging wallet in order to pay for them might have been instead. Just as he appears to have been too tight-fisted to drop by this lot before his return drive to London:-

Perhaps you can tell us about your great country.  You're very keen to put the UK down, so I assume your country is amazing?

Including He Must Go lead article in the Speccie. Who knew lefties wielded so much power. That was B liar's mantra about Iraq. True lefties want him to carry on - getting rid of him might appear that Johnson is in charge - let them dig their own holes or ditches to die in.

Dominic Cummings WON'T be prosecuted by Durham Police after 'minor breach'

https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1288188/dominic-cummings-lockdown-rules-durham-journey-durham-police-barnard-castle

You have not answered the points I raised in the post of mine you quoted:

"22 hours ago, 7by7 said:

If he did nothing wrong, why did Downing Street lie about it?

On 30th March Downing Street said Cummings was self isolating with his wife and child in their London home. A lie, they were in Durham.

Downing street said Cummings' father had not been spoken to by Durham police. A lie; he had been.

Downing Street said he had not taken his wife and child on a trip to Barnard Castle. A lie; Cummings did.

If everything was above board, if Cummings did nothing wrong, why did Downing Street lie?

Was it off their own bat in order to defend their de facto boss?

Worse, was it on Cummings' instructions?

Worst of all, was it on the Prime Minister's instructions?"

As your link says; it was a minor breach and so, like many others who did the same, he wont be prosecuted.

In which case, why all the lies?

If Cummings had simply held his hands up and admitted the breach when this was first reported, no one would be talking about it now.

It is not the breach which has angered people; it is the lies told on his behalf (instruction?) and then the pathetic 'eye test' excuse for the trip on his wife's birthday.
