I wonder about my English test (A1) does it still can use after it been submit decument.with visa that has been refused. Or I have to test it again. I known that the expired time is about 2 years. But I'm not sure if it attempt once already. Not sure if it still can use for second attmept.thank you

You can use your English test pass as long as it has not expired. It is valid for 2 years, no matter how many times you apply for a settlement visa.

Regarding your visa refusal, it would be helpful if you could post the refusal notice, but make sure to remove your identifying personal details (name, application reference numbers, etc). We can then see why the application was refused, and will probably be able to give some advice. If you do not wish to post the refusal notice, then you can contact me in private message, and I will give whatever advice I can.

Tony,

As far as I know an English test pass is accepted indefinitely. Somewhere in the archives of this forum (about 6 years ago) is a lengthy discussion about this and I believe some sort of ruling was obtained they would be still be valid. It is true that some tests state on the certificate that they are valid for 2 years but I think this is just the testing body covering their backsides. However, if it is a TOEIC test pass then that may be a problem as TOEIC were struck off as a result of fraud (highlighted by the BBC Panorama programme). I suggest the OP check the certificate and see if the examining body is still on the list of approved testers.

Thank you anyone

Thank you for answer my curious.i got an english test A1 ielts from British coucil

My tested result on Jan 2019.so it 1.5 year until now.still valid for 6 months until Jan 2021. I asked about this because. I don't want have to pay again if it still able to submit with my new application which I will apply soon within this month. My refused reason from previous application was. we not have enough money saving and we don't submit the house inpection. Becuase we did misunderstanding  about the amount of saving.but this time we have enough 62,500 pound. Plus we have fund from sold the propertie.and we got the report for house in UK. I think this not gonna be a reason to refuse my visa again.i hope

Yes your right Tony it does say 2 year validity. This seems a bit at odds with Further Leave to Remain requirements where there is no 2 year limitation. I suppose the rationale for that would be that a person in the UK is constantly practising their English whilst someone in Thailand may not be.

I have never heard of that. It was not needed with my wife's application.

Exactly the reason that agents are a waste of money. Who knows the details about an application better than the applicant? The process is simple and straight forward.

We are all live in Thailand at the moment. When we moving there. For first few months. We will live with my wife 's parents. Until we will buy a house.then previous application.there is the refusal reason.they suspect that the house will be over crowded.so this time we already do the house report from specialist. That there are spaces for everyone.
