This is exactly the kind of thing that TAT should be working on. There is so much misinformation out there that even tourism operators are acting on out of date information. There are plenty of expats out there that want to travel but won’t as there is no clear information.

1/2 Just called Thailand’s state-owned bus company (Transport Co.) and they confirmed foreigners may NOT buy tickets or ride their buses, even if a Thai buys their ticket, until further notice from govt. cc @RichardBarrow

Stories about provinces & transportation that don’t accept foreigners is just crazy. How many months have the borders been closed? Why are we being treated as potential carries when we’ve all been here for months. The virus doesn’t care about your skin colour. They shouldn’t too.

Old news as it was stated on this particular bus company website a few weeks back that foreigners cant buy a bus ticket until the emergency decree is lifted. There's other bus company's in Thailand that will take anyone's money.
