I have a business visa and I'm a 49% shareholder in a Thai LTD.  I am currently across the mekong from thailand so I won't need a flight.

After reading this below I could not find where the 20k people have registered for this already:

About 20,000 foreign businesspeople, Thai work permit holders, and international-school students and teachers have registered to return to Thailand, according to the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration.

Anyone have info on how to do this for the July 1st return?

This is for US but would seem to apply for anyone.

Seems you should go to Thai embassy.

Those seeking entry must submit their application at the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate General in the United States at least 10 business days before the date of intended departure. The application should include: (1) copy of a valid work permit or permission issued by an RTG agency to work in Thailand; and (2) a valid health insurance policy with coverage of at least $100,000, including coverage of COVID-19. If the request to enter is granted, the applicant must present the following at the airport: (1) boarding pass; (2) Certificate of Entry into the Kingdom of Thailand; (3) a completed and signed “Declaration Form;” (4) a “Fit-to-Fly” Health Certificate issued no more than 72 hours prior; and (5) a valid health insurance policy with coverage of at least $100,000, including coverage of COVID-19. In addition, travelers are subject to 14-day state quarantine upon arrival in a government-approved facility at their own expense.

Potential applicants should contact the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, DC or one of the Thai Consulates for more information, application forms, and other relevant required documents.

Applications will be considered on a case by case basis, taking into account of urgency and economic importance.

Is your business system relevant? WP alone is not good enough.

Thai embassy wherever you are might be a good place to start. At least you’ll know what the requirements to return are.

Hi Ubonjoe. As usual a brief, consistent and down to the point answer. However this raises a question to me. What about PR?

e.g. I am PR and would have to go to Europe for my mother's funeral.... What's next? Any idea?

You will certainly need a re-entry permit before leaving to keep your PR valid.

If normal flights are not available when your return you  would need to contact the Thai embassy in the country your are in to do an application to enter the country.

Looks like getting back to Thailand will be nearly impossible. I had a Thai friend call the Thai consulate in Vientiane for me and they flat out said no. No non Thai businessman will not be permitted back in under any circumstances even when pushed for an explanation.

The Thai consulate in savannakhet said only ceo's and technical persons essitial to a factory in an industrial park to stay open might be permitted back in.

Sadly at this time that may not be an option?

Trough the Thai embassy?

I would've thought a "business person" would've been smart enough to figure that out on their own lol.

Can I please add; if your current PR Exit/re-entry stamp needs renewal soon, please note that if you cannot get back to Thailand before the stamp expiry date the Thai government has already issued an order that in the COVID situation PR holders have an additional 12 months to renew their Exit/re-entry stamp.

But it must be reissued quickly when you do get back to Thailand.

If you want, please PM to me and I'll share a copy of the government order Thai and English.

Good luck.

There are flights out of the country. What would be the problem?

Getting back in!

No inbound passenger flights, just Cargo or returning Thais. Then 14 days in quarantine at your expense IF you can get in.

Also, there are not many flights out and they often get cancelled. Roadrunner is currently experiencing difficulty in flying to Germany.
