Phuket Land Transport Office open to foreigners?

Featured Replies

Few days ago tried to renew my International Driving Permit in Bangkok, was told services are not available to foreigners until further notice.

I am back to Phuket now and want to do the same. Anyone knows what is the status, are the offices open to foreigners here?

Thanks in advance.

Been there and they informed me that renewal is possible from 1st July onward

A friend was told last week 3 July, seems strange to start on a Friday but they may be giving thais a head start if the other date is 1 July. I would be tepmted to give it a week to let the initial rush cool anyway.

Please note that 4 to 7 July are public holidays in Thailand.

Please note that 3 Jul is a Friday- what's your point?

You suggested "I would be tepmted to give it a week to let the initial rush cool anyway."

I just want to highlight the public holidays in the following week after 3 July.  Is that so hard to comprehend?
