The authorities held a special farewell ceremony at Ranong Customs House on Monday (June 29) for 104 Myanmar migrant workers before they were provided transportation back home.

Also present at the ceremony were Ranong governor Jatupoj Piyumputra and Myanmar government representatives.

The workers, who were screened for Covid-19 and instructed to adhere strictly to prevention guidelines, said they want to return to their jobs once the outbreak is under control.
