Was thinking of planning a trip to Udon now the bars can officially reopen in a couple of weeks time.

 

Can any Udonites please update the situation in the Soi Samphan area.

 

I guess some might wait to reopen until after the coming Buddha holidays this weekend.

Bring a large bottle of 70% and a roll of paper towels if you plan on staying at the hotels! I was there last week . Can't trust the cleaning ladies to  disinfect  surfaces!

There was a few Thai restaurants  serving refreshments!

 

Less than a  quarter of the falang restaurants were open as well,no refreshments

Seems there are no Udon bar goers on this forum, so will go elsewhere

Yes, the bars are open. Sports Bar, Day Night, Brickhouse, Irish Clock, Chris's Place. Check the udonmap forum for more details.
