They changed this application window.

That Infographic is from 20 March.  A LOT has changed since then; I wold not trust that information still.  For instance, has anybody figured out whether 31 August or 26 September is the actual deadline for post-amnesty 90 day reporting?  The official wording for BOTH OFFICIAL statements infers mandatory deadlines, so which is it, and what is the window for online filing...the traditional 15-7 days prior to deadline?

It sure would be nice if just for once, there was a clear and concise statement from Imm without the usual contradictions!

  • You're talking about an automated system and I doubt it's been reprogrammed or whatever for the amnesty and it's just following what it's been programmed to do. So if you've missed what would have bee

  • I think i read somewhere here on Thaivisa that if you skipped a 90 day report you need to do your next one in person. Only after you did one in person will you be able to use online reporting again. (

Were you within the 5-15 day period of the deadline?  If you were even one day before that window, you will get that error message (with no explanation that the reason is you are outside of the time w

I did my 90-day on-line report using the 90-day reporting website 3 days before expiry of the due date.  It was approved within 3 hours, so indeed the 90-day on-line reporting window has been enlarged and is now (as the infographic in post #91 shows) from 14 days before till actual due date).

I did wait deliberately with reporting till last days before my 90-day due date, in order not to lose too many days as the next 90-day due date will be exactly 90 days after your application has been approved.

Immigrations infographic contradicts the actual ministerial order. The requirement for 90 day reporting is still suspended from today to September 26th.

I think number 3 on it is only for those on longstay extensions or visas. They want you do the reports this month if you skipped them from March until now to get back to a normal reporting schedule. I don't think that will possible online but if you could submit the application I think immigration might approve it.

If on a visa exempt, tourist visa or a 90 day non immigrant visa the do not want them at all.

Hi @ubonjoe

Sorry but I am still confused ????.  I am indeed on a long stay visa (to be renewed 30 Sep).  I did NOT update my 90 day by my last deadline which was 30 May because the official ministerial order specifically stated that it was not necessary.  So, what you are saying is that I probably can not do this online during August, correct?

What about if I wait for the 7-15 day window to the 26 Sep deadline; should I be able to do it online then?

I don't mean to make such a big deal about this but a visit to the nearest Imm office for me will involve almost an entire day of travel, and I don't trust filing by mail.

You are indeed confused...

You did not do your 90-day report when it was due 30 May.  And you are correct that the official ministerial order then stated that it was not necessary to do so.

But what that order did not tell you is that by not doing your 30 May due 90-day report, you will probably not be able to do the next one on-line.  That next one would be 28 August < 90 days post your 30 May due date >.

So you could try to do your on-line report in the 14 to 28 August on-line reporting window.  And in case your IO did that 30 May 90-day report for you, it should work then.

But chances are that it will not be possible.

And in that case you then will need to do that next one IN PERSON at your local IO.  That's why it was mentioned many times that even though not necessary to do your 90-day report during the Amnesty, that it was recommended to do it on-line, exactly to avoid the risk of not being able to use the on-line reporting option for your next one.

If you cannot do it now you would not be able to do it in September. You should try doing now. I personally do not think the system will reject if you try doing it..

Nothing wrong with doing them by mail. I have done them by mail without ever having a problem since I cannot do them online.

Just send it by EMS or registered mail. That provides proof was it received when you check Thai post tracking for.

I assume you are aware that you only send copies of your passport. Instructions from the immigration website follows.

He wrote that the 90-day report which he skipped was due 30 May.

When IO did it for him on due date (would be amazing service), then his on-line reporting window is from 14 till 28 August.  Worth trying during that period, and if it doesn't work then he can still visit his IO in person during the month of August to regularize his 90-day reporting status.

I was just saying I am not convinced the online reporting site will block him from doing the report like some people say or think.

Only immigration can reject it for being outside the window as far as I know.

Thanks @ubonjoe  You are always such a wealth of information; you should write a book!  It would be a best seller for sure ????

@ubonjoe Can you tell me if I can / should mail my 90 day report to my local (Chiang Mai) Immigration office or to Bangkok?  The Chiang Mai Imm site is hopeless as far as finding this out, and the only address I could find (from 3rd party sites) is the following, and since none of the sites are "official", I have no idea if this is correct, or if the information is outdated:

90 DAYS REGISTRATION,
IMMIGRATION DIVISION 1
Government Complex Building B
120 MOO 3, CHAENGWATTANA ROAD,SOI 7,
LAKSI, BANGKOK. 10210

I tried to find answer here on forums and a number of people said they were sending theirs to their local Imm office, so I'm guessing I should do same but can not find a local address and since it sounds like they have opened up Promenada again, I want to know exactly where I should send it.

To set the record straight, I was mistaken; Imm did not update my report as I originally thought.  I mis-read the entry on their website, so I am indeed outside the window for online reporting now.  I'm taking UbonJoe's advice and mailing by registered mail on Monday...if I can figure out where to mail it.

I have read other TVF members say they mail to their local Imm offices, but I can only find an dedicated mailing address for 90 day reporting in Bangkok, and not sure if that is for all in Thailand or only those in the Bangkok area, or if it's even valid since it comes from a commercial (non-official) website (thaiembassy.com/).

If anyone has a dedicated mailing address to do this at Chiang Mai Imm, I'd appreciate seeing it.  I sure can not find it on CM's Imm website.

You have to mail it to CM immigration. Address from a topic on CM forum.

Again...Thank you!  BTW, if I decide to just do it in person, do I go to Imm down near the airport?  I heard that Promenada is now open again, but not sure for what.

Your 90 day report would be done at Promenada

The information is also written in the Ts & Cs you accept before getting into the on line system, so I think it's fair to say it's accurate.

That's because you did your report during the -14 to -7 days window for on line reporting. People here don't understand that, quite understandably, and amnesty won't be reflected in the rules built a computer system, unless someone undertakes to implement the pertinent new rules. As the amnesty is just a temporary stop gap immigration have not (yet?) done so.

What they should have done though is to warn users to that effect.

That window is not correct. It's now from the due date and 15 days early.

The online 90 days reporting service is Thai Immigration.

Do you think i am not aware of that.

A local immigration office makes the final approval of the online reporting.

In Chiang Mai Is 90 day reporting at Prominada on the 2nd floor of the mall where you used to do TM30’s before the move to the airport location?

What time do they open, and is it advisable to queue early before opening time?

I just kept doing the online 90 day report when it was due even during the amnesty (late June).  It was approved and I remained current.

If you said where you're from you might have contributed to the conversation.
