Police have launched a manhunt in Phatthalung province after the bodies of three unidentified men were found with up to 40 gunshot wounds in the city at 2.30am on Wednesday (July 29).

Two bodies were inside a car, while another was on the ground nearby.

Deputy National Police spokesman Pol Colonel Krissana Pattanacharoen said investigators are collecting evidence and checking footage from security cameras in the hunt for the assailant.

National Police chief, Pol General Chakthip Chaijinda, has instructed Phattalung police to ensure people’s security and prevent another such crime.

At first glans it sounds like the crime scene is staged. Seems like nobody have heard over 40 gun shots, which is not likely.
