Is information about the use of a surge protection device available in this forum? I can not find it in the search area

Try a search using the following scheme examples:

On the main page of The Electrical Forum there is a pinned thread which has a short story about Surge Suppression (MOVs).

 

 

And there were several threads in the forum which you can find by browsing or as Richcor already said by using the search algorithm of Google will help you with a list of results.
