Is this just for new applications from Thailand or from within the UK

The wife was supposed to go for her biometric test but we got notice the previous data would be used and they were looking for a way to provide a new photo

The notice says "Immigration and nationality fees for all applications made from outside and within the UK", I haven't read it in detail to ascertain if updated Biometric captures are included.

Good to see no increase in all but one category and decreases in the health and care worker categories.

But most fees are still exorbitant when compared to the actual cost of processing, especially in the settlement categories!

ILR for example:

Fee; £2,389;

Cost; £243

How can they justify this? Well, since these exorbitant profits were first introduced by Blair's government successive Home Secretaries and Immigration Ministers have yet to come up with a satisfactory answer to that question!

They are, but there has been no increase; in UK ones still £56.
