Me and 8 of my mates just went on to the Thaiticketmaster website and bought tickets for all of the Asian Cup matches that will be played in Bangkok in July. If anyone else is keen to join us, we bought tickets in the 200 Baht section (category 3).

We are in either the Aussie or Thai supporter section for every game except for the Aussie v Thai game where we're in the Aussie section. Our section is always E2J or E2M depending on what end the supporter section is at for each game. Our seat numbers are always E8 - E12 and F8 - F12 which is the 4th row from the front.

For the Quarter final we're in the E2J section.

Hope some of you can join the party.

I got tickets too. I thought the whole process was a shambles..delays in both announcing and the timing of the sale and initially they failed to post up the Australia v Thailand game so by mistake I also got tickets to the first QF (wishful thinking too).

How do you know if it is the Aussie or Thai section for the Aust Thai game?

There's a little coloured map/key on the bottom right of the screen when you choose your tickets that shows where they suggest you sit depending on who you support, although there's quite a substantial neutral area too.

I think they're being a bit optimistic to think Oman and Iraq will attract one amounts to around one third of the total number of supporters for their games.

1st match is July 7, Grand opening, Thailand Vs Iraq

I believe that this game will be played on a Saturday, so I'll try to get some of the lads from the football team to come along. It will be interesting to see how the Iraqis match up against the Thais.

I would like to go to the Aussie game too but being a farang the majority of Thais will automatically assume that I'm an Aussie. :o Not sure if I fancy that. :D

Better off getting our bad game out of the way at the beginning of the tournament rather than the end.

:o Oops ... how many more bad games to get out of the way??? One more??

The Aussies looked very lethargic tonight. However, I was very impressed with Sunderland target Akram (number 5) who was Iraq's man of the match. Hope we follow up the apparent pre-season interest and sign this lad. Only 22, but looks a great prospect.

Yes it was another Shiite performance against Iraq. :D
