Popular Post hotchilli Posted August 10, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 10, 2020 Why don't they just leave them alone, and why does it need to be reported where the beach is? 3

Saying the nest was in danger because of high tides or stormy weather is rubbish, the eggs are laid deep in the sand, if that was the case the whole beach would be wiped out. Moving turtle eggs is not the best option, disturbing them, disorientating them, not replacing them exactly how they were found will increase the mortality rate drastically. Just leave them alone.
