Sending a Friend to Land Office with POA

Recommended Posts

I prefer to have a Thai friend go to a Land Office in Bangkok to help register my condo, instead of a lawyer (I’m stuck outside of Thailand so unable to go, myself).

I know we need to get the Chor 21 form, have it sent to me in the USA where I can sign and have it notarized, then send it back.

Is there anything else to it? Or is it as simple as it seems?

If any of you have any experience with this, please share ????

Appreciate your reply/time,

Saul

You should get your representative to talk to the land office you will be using. The land office may require that the chor 21 is legalised at a Thai Embassy or Consulate only. Some might be ok with a notarised signature. Some may require a copy of your passport signed by yourself and legalised/notarised.

Each office can have different rules, so it is always best to check first.
