Many locals started filming and were thoroughly impressed after a snake catcher in the south of Thailand captured a King Cobra with his bare hands.

It was all in a day's work for Thanaphan better known by his nickname "Baem Similan" who works for the "Phitak Ngoo Phaak Tai" (southern snake guardians) group.

It was a 3.2 meter long female.

Following the successful "arrest" the local police were informed before the King Cobra was released from its sack back to nature.

The incident happened in the Lam Keng sub-district of Phangnga in the south of Thailand.
