I have a soft spot for sleeping on satin sheets . My problem is that I can't find a shop in Bangkok that sells this sort of speciality bedsheet. If I can't buy satin then I might settle for silk. 

 

Does anyone know where in Bangkok ( or elsewhere ) , I might be able to buy such sheets ??   

Most of the Central department stores carry them in stock.

 

You can buy whole sets... fitted bottom sheet, duvet cover, and of course pillow slips.

Did you have a look at a Robinson or Central department store? They usually have a big selection of bed sheets. Some are imho grossly overpriced, but if you look at the various brands you can usually find some for somehow reasonable prices (but at least compared to Germany they still cost more)

Lazada has a selection.

A Full size flat sheet is large enough to tuck in and use as a bottom sheet..on a Queen size bed.  Can simplify laundry.  If I had to buy here, I would plug my nose and look at Lazada.  Last time I was home, my mom gave me a set of 600 thread count 100% Egyptian cotton, that were too tight for their extra thick mattress..would cost a fortune, here.
