Of course the hard core loyalists about 35 percent of the country will never believe it.

 

But it's clearly true.

 

Can he still win? Probably if he motivates all of that base to vote. But how likely is that?

 

I will add for those not familiar with the Atlantic Magazine it happens to be my favorite source for in depth coverage of this disastrous presidency. The Washington Post too of course.

This is just who Trump is. A man who was terrified, and absolutely refused to serve his nation, with five deferments, now openly disparages those who do. Why? An extreme lack of self esteem, made worse by those brave men and women who did serve their nation. There is a public record of him disparaging John McCain, who was a hero. Also, the gold star parents of the soldier who lost his life. And many others. So, it is not a stretch to imagine he would mock the "great generation", and the many who lost their lives to make sure we could remain free of tyranny. He simply represents the worst in all of us. and has a stunningly black and malicious heart. He must be stopped. He must be ousted, and he WILL lose the election. We will make it so!
