Vitamin D deficiency study in JAMA

Jama recently did a study on Vitamin D.  Their finding were found to be significant.

Findings  In this cohort study of 489 patients who had a vitamin D level measured in the year before COVID-19 testing, the relative risk of testing positive for COVID-19 was 1.77 times greater for patients with likely deficient vitamin D status compared with patients with likely sufficient vitamin D status, a difference that was statistically significant.

There was also a double blind small test run in Spain with people who were sick enough to warrant a hospital stay.  The hospital set up two groups and were treated the same except one group was given a form of vitamin D called calcifediol.  Of the patients given this, only 2% had to go to icu, while those not given this had a 50% icu admission rate.

John Campbell goes over both of these tests in his video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8Ks9fUh2k8

The bottom line is if you have Vitamin D sufficient, it will greatly help if you get covid. Most of us already knew this, but for some strange reason ( $$) there have not been really any actual clinical tests on this.  It makes you wonder why low cost drugs and therapies haven't been looked into and tested, while the big pharma and expensive treatments are being pushed waiting for the magical vaccine.

Vitamins and herbs have never been popular with the drug manufacturers, they are cheap and can't be patented to overcharge for obscene profits. As such they constantly push the narrative through their lackeys that they are ineffective. Believe or don't.

As to covid, Vitamin D and Zinc are essential. Add some Olive Leaf to make sure. All inexpensive and harmless, unlike the vaccine...

Back in March, whilst visiting the clinic of who we call 'the family doctor' he said wash your hands frequently and take a Vitamin D supplement...

I saw something on TV that said during the Spanish flu when hospitals were full, some hospital patients were wheeled outside and treated outdoors - and apparently those folks who got their share of vitamin D from their time outdoors did better than those indoors.

Bam! There it is. Our bodies manufacture Vitamin D when we are in the sunlight. And what do our governments do? Lock us up. While this may be a small factor in the spread of COVID-19, it's certainly worth mention and debate.
