A woman is suspected of murdering her disabled father, 63, in Lopburi province, with help from a friend on Monday.

Sabot Police Station was informed that the corpse of a man wrapped in a blanket was dumped on the roadside near the residential area in Sabot sub-district.

Police later found that the victim’s skull, ribs and shoulders were heavily damaged and he had died at least five or six hours before his body was found.

Police located the deceased's house, which was 700 metres from the scene. In the house, police found blood on the ground and freshly washed clothes on which blood stains were visible.

The victim’s daughter told  police she was unaware of anything, but police are treating her as a suspect.

After her interrogation, police said they had grounds to believe that the daughter had murdered her father with help from another person, presumably her friend, who the police were able to identify. The motivation might be drug usage, police said.

Not exactly a mastermind of crime.... Thai education has a lot to answer for.
