Hi,

 

my motorbike tax is due this month and I want to do the renewal by myself.

Anyone has an idea where i can find one of these 60 baht check places in Silom/Sathon or around the DLT in Bang Chak?

And second question:
For the tax renewal I just go to the DLT with the document from the motorbike check, greenbook and probably passport/workpermit, am i correct?
Anything i should pay attention? (make appointment?)

@papa al what exactly did you search for? The only thing Google shows me are motorbike sellers if I search for

You have to go to a "tor ror or" place. When you are outside just look for a this sign, once you start looking for it you will notice that there are many arround:

You also have to buy compulsary insurance before you can pay the tax at the DLT, you can buy the insurance at these places as well.

No need for passport and work permit. The compulsory insurance can be bought at the DLT as well

You do not mention it, but if your motorcycle is less that 5 years old , you do not need the motorcycle  to be checked.

anyway, the inspection place i went did also the tax and insurance renewal for me, went there on Thursday and can pick my sticker tomorrow.
