Great work by the Udonthani Immagration Officals bending over backwards to accomodate all these, well I wont start. They the immigration did not have to open up early or open up on Saturday to accomodate Expats. They could have easily said "Sorry, you are late and have had ample notice. To Bad, so sad" in theh next breath "That will be 2 or 4,000 baht as a fine and once paid please follow the officer to the local jail."

Yes, Udon Thani immigration was busy with people seeking last minute extensions of which 98% were from Laos. I am quite sure that when the OP said "...these, well I wont start." he wasn't talking about the Laotians.

maybe make a poll with all the immigrations in thailand and let people rate them

9 0ut of 10 for Chonburi Immigration (Jomtien Beach) front desk reception arrangements weak other than that, very efficient.

have to agree the ladies Ubon Ratchathani immigration so kind & helpful, can not thank them enough.

Udon the best always smiling friendly an efficient.  Don't think I've ever spent longer than 15 minutes in the joint. 

I've had nothing but disgusting attitude and behavior from there, but it was before Khon Kaen had an immigration. 

They used to make me travel every month, despite having a job in the government, offered to fix it by paying tea money, tried to keep the 100 baht change, etc etc.
