Does anyone know which office, airport or Promenada is issuing residency certificates and what are the current docs needed?  I need to renew my 5-yr DL (car and M/C) this month.

Last one I did was at airport. As it says in article between 8 and 10 am. I went after 10 and had to go back next day. Submitted application and given a date one month later to come back and collect. Of course you can pay and get next day. Not sure if this still the case.

Why not go to your local district office and get a yellow book. If you have that you don't need a Certificate of residence from Immigration.

The airport 2nd floor cost 500baht. Bring all you papers copy face page passport, copy of house book and what ever they want as each place is different. Go early in the morning as when I went at 2.00pm they were shut.

Cert of Residence, desk, is open 830 to 12 noon.
