Multi-Boot USB

Featured Replies

Surprised Britec didn't compare or even mention other multiple boot USB creation utilities (YUMI, Rufus, or a dozen others out there).

VENTOY is interesting in that once it's 'environment' is written to the Flash Drive partition then ANY .iSO can be simply copied on or off of it to have it included in its multiple .iso boot options -- where other USB creation utilities might require actually 'installing' a modified version of the .iso in order to work.

Hmm...

Thanks, that sounds interesting.

Until now I never missed multi-boot on a USB stick. But now that I know it exist, especially with the multipel .iso I am sure I will use it.

+1... Have used things like Penlinux many years ago & have bootable USBs for install/recovery but never considered having one where I could boot into a number of different OSs

Comes at a good time as I've just rebuilt one of my laptops, have already installed VMWare Player & Virtualbox and am at the point where I'm creating a number of different flavours of VMs so will have a play to see if I can also use the ISOs to create one of these.

That's the next few days of my life gone (& who said I would get bored in retirement ???? )
