Would anyone be kind enough to advise the names and locations of bars, pubs and restaurants in Khon Kaen serving good farang food and catering to farang customers.

A friend of mine is after American or Italian menus or American-Italian!

Howdy,

There was a place on prachasamran road, in the basememt of Sofital Raja Orchid Hotel that was a brewery and served German food. I seen some farangs over there and across from the Khon Kean Hotel, at the night plaza. Fun places. Other bar's in the area.

The Sofitel Hotel has the best beer in Isaan. Their basement restaurant makes a good pizza and spaghetti with tomato sauce. You have to ask for it by name, it is not on the menu.

Also italian place right next door to cheap charlie's ( soi next to Sofitel ) and food is excellent, just like mama used to make, in fact it is the guys mama who is doing the cooking...pizzas are ace..nice thin base and tatsy
