Actually not true.  Socialist Eugene V. Debs ran for president in 1920 while imprisoned for opposing WWI and got a million votes.

USA law even more crazy then I thought was possible.

Yes, one wonders why the margin was so small in many states when we've been told for 4 years that Trump is the worst human being to walk on planet earth president in history. Apparently Trump got many more votes than in 2016, so increased his popularity.

Yes the base is very solid. They showed their support. That five million votes topping trumps's , soon to be, did however not want him.

Historic defeat, historic one term President. Integrity is still the measure in America.

The margin was small in states that Trump won last time. Does that tell you anything? Trump didn't win in any state that he lost in last time. Not one. And he lost in several states that he won last time. And as someone else pointed out there was a record setting turnout for both candidates. Remember those claims of Trump supporters that the size of his rallies proved he was more popular than Biden? Last time I checked Biden got about 4 percent more voters than Trump. It is possible to be enthusiastically against someone, too.

One sailor... kept adamantly declaring the rally counts showed a trump victory. He is not here anymore so maybe he is spending the necessary time reflecting. However the rally's did drum more trump support than 2016 but not in any final outcome.

Yeh! That Fox News!!!  Poor helpless Donald sold out by his best pals in the media. ????????????

No doubt Trump will take "poor loser" to a whole different level.

He already has.Although until all legal challenges have been exhausted, the result has not been declared officially and think can take until Dec 10th or there abouts

Seems everyone here is overcome with supreme confidence that nothing will come from a Supreme Court challenge.  It won't be me that his his balloon popped.

most of his lawsuits are considered frivolous, making allegations based on rumors with little or no evidence provided.  i expect they will be squanched in the state supreme courts, and the us supreme court will decline to hear them.

on the another hand, trump will likely prevail with the case against pennsylvania, as the state supreme court exceeded their authority by extending ballot acceptance by three days in opposition to the wishes of state legislatures.  unfortunately, as has been reported, the larger counties saw fewer than 500 ballots each arrive, the smaller counties none at all.

a couple thousand votes won't put trump over the top, and that's if the court makes a decision.  the new lady justice would (rightly) vote to overrule the state court, but will likely recuse herself, leaving it a split 4-4 decision with the state decision standing.

The lawsuits are not frivolous even if they don't overturn the result, which admittedly is a very long shot. They are an important and necessary step to take in an election where much funny business has been seen.

So far, every one has been turfed out as groundless, apart from a partial win in Pennsylvania, which was futile in the final analysis.

The avatar you show - dancing with glee, or stamping with rage? Difficult to tell.
