Advice - VISA Extension 12 months for NON-O Volunteer VISA

Featured Replies

Hello guys

I have 2 questions about NON-O VISA extension.

I am 47 years old with an Italian passport.

Originally I was on a TR VISA and stuck in here,
now I am on a 3 months NON-O Volunteer VISA which expires 22nd December 2020.

I then would like to stay additional 12 months, meaning the whole 2021.
But the price agencies are asking me seem quite high.

Now Questions for you:
1. What is a "reasonable" price nowadays you would pay to a VISA Agency to get 12 months extension, in my case?
2. Alternatively, can someone extend his/her VISA by himself directly through the immigration office?

Thanks guys

Matteo

For someone that entered with visa exempt or tourist visa the agent would charge something like 45k to obtain a non O and then 12 month extension based on volunteering.

You already have a non O so they just need to do extension.

Sounds as though you have made inquiries with agents. Check with Thai Visa Centre (bkk) or perhaps Keyvisa (Pattaya). That will give you a guide. They will answer online via Facebook or website.

Extensions for working as a volunteer work are normally only 90 days per application for it.

1. I don't know what it would be.

2. It would require supporting document from the organization you working with to apply for the extension.

Isn’t that something the NGO you work for would arrange?

I suspect he doesn't actually do work for a NGO.

Hello ubonjoe

You mean that in order to get to 12 months Volunteer extensioni I need to go to the immigration office every 90 days to get a new stamp?
Which means if they approve it everytime is fine , but they could deny it too, at that point I'll have to leave.

Is this the actual process?

You would have to submit a new extension application every 90 days to get new extension stamp.

As long as you have all the supporting documents it would be accepted. You can apply early for the extension and if there was a problem you would have time to sort it out.

An agent obtained your non o. Correct?

You require an agent to obtain your 12 month extension based on volunteering.

how much did you pay for 3 months volunteer ? is it still available ?

now they ask 45000 for 1 year multiple entries volunteer, is it what you have been proposed ?

you can also extend 1 month for covid for 1900 thb (very few offices give 2 months it seems, and not Pattaya for sure).

Tiktok agent will do your 3 months report for free if you get the visa with them. You never have to meet any immigidiot.

Hello, I am in a similar situation. If you have the tiktok agency details, could you share it? Thanks.

I think you are very well informed and of good advise. Furthermore in any case he would have to do the 90 days report, or not????

Yes they do. Along with most agents.

How did you last enter Thailand. Visa exempt, tourist visa....?

Since he is Italian ( member of EU ) probably on exempt I would think?????

Yes he would.

The 90 day extension still requires the report of staying longer than 90 consecutive days in the country.
