No I don’t.

Why would the army get involved, trespass is a matter of civilian law?!

Well, it might be considered insurrection. Technically at least.

Keep up to date , the link that  I posted is from today , todays current news , not news from a few weeks ago

that link leads to a rumour-mongering sky news article that says:

...Donald Trump is also said to have no plans to invite Joe Biden to the White House beforehand or even call him.

...is said to be considering running

...NBC claims that people familiar with the discussions say

...is also said to have no plans

...NBC reports that Mr Trump has told advisers

...He has already begun fundraising

...emails to potential contributors to the Trump PAC suggest donations are for an "election defence fund

no news.  nothing of substance, and no indication from the big man himself that he is planning to vacate the premises when the president elect's uhaul van arrives outside.

He seems to have accepted the result , or at least the "fact" that he will be leaving the W.H

He may well have understood it from the start and was just doing a political show for his core fan base.

I suspect he believes what it suits him to believe according to circumstances. That's a big part of what makes him such a great con artist.

Oh sure, folks like youself and maybe even you said this same silly thing when he went to North Korea, China for the deal of the century and on some other trips and look now at these, his deals are failures and the world is laughing at him.

Have you attempted to take your routine on the road? I hear there is a new comedy club in Bangkok. Trump cannot think even one move ahead. Anything beyond buying small apartment buildings is totally over his head. Nearly everything he has done in his life has been a failure, with the exception of gifting a few billion from small contractors. Chess? Way over his head.

Your sarcasm sensors not working? You really don't know who on this site is posting what?

Here's the latest impossible dream they've come up with. Set your clock for January 21st  Donny

Lawsuit by Trump allies challenging Pennsylvania election results reaches Supreme Court

The group seeks an emergency injunction from the nation's highest court to block the completion of any remaining steps in the state's certification of Pennsylvania's 2020 election results, which took place last week. The petition was submitted to Associate Justice Samuel Alito. There are several reasons why the high court is unlikely to look kindly on the petition. The justices are disinclined to overrule state, rather than federal, courts. They are even more unlikely to disenfranchise millions of law-abiding voters. The challengers could have filed suit when the state law passed but waited a year, until their preferred presidential candidate was defeated, to take action.

There's a picnic competition called climbing a greased pole, You've got to give Trump a medal for his tireless  efforts to win at all costs even if it means  soiling himself shamelessly and repeatedly  ....

If he is considering running for POTUS in 2024 , POTUS can only serve two terms , which means he accepts he will be stepping down next January

He doesn't have any choice. Biden won, he's out.

As for 2024, I can't see the republicans nominating him again. He's done untold damage to their rep.

There were some suggestion on here that he would refuse to leave the White House and that the Proud boys would be outside protecting him and the building and that Antifa would have to take up arms to remove him and a civil war would break out  ????

Trump has the base.  70 million still voted for the liar.  If he wants to run, he will and there's nothing the GOP can do to stop him or he'll crush whoever tries.  Just like dictators do.

   Now be sensible .

Do you know what a "Dictator" is ?

Do you know what the word means ?

On what grounds are you labelling Trump to be a dictator ?

Maybe he'll run as an independent or for another party. The Monster Raving Looney Party would suit him to a T.

I'm sure US law enforcement is soiling it's collective trousers in fear of Proud Boys. :cheesy:

LE will evict him.

This "antifa" stuff is a farce to get those who don't know any better riled up, like dangling chicken nuggets in front of them.  Send your money to DT, America will be a little bit greater with each dollar you give him.

The big high-dollar donors may have a word to say. From as far back as July, big dollars donors have been pulling away from Trump for as much as 61% in this second quarter. Fast forward to present, many of Trump's top donors from 2016 are shrinking from his election loss and his divisive behavior. According to NYT, only 6 of the top 38 donors to Trump-related super PACs in 2016 and 2018 have contributed for his re-election bid if that will come around. He may be popular today but over 4 years with full display of his and his family numerous lawsuits and without a big microphone, his persona will likely fade.

Excellent points.  But he's made over 170 million so far for his Super PAC!  That's big money.  As for the GOP, he's a force that they can't ignore.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.  But for sure, considering his fragile ego and desire to be in the spotlight, he and his family won't be going away anytime soon.  Sadly.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dictator

A dictator is a political leader who possesses absolute power. A dictatorship is a state ruled by one dictator or by a small clique.

Like the term "tyrant" (which was originally a non-pejorative Ancient Greek title), and to a lesser degree "autocrat", "dictator" came to be used almost exclusively as a non-titular term for oppressive rule. Thus, in modern usage, the term "dictator" is generally used to describe a leader who holds or abuses an extraordinary amount of personal power. Dictatorships are often characterised by some of the following: suspension of elections and civil liberties; proclamation of a state of emergency; rule by decree; repression of political opponents; not abiding by the rule of law procedures, and cult of personality. Dictatorships are often one-party or dominant-party states.

Splitting hairs.  What most people would say is that Trump is a dictator wannabe.  But the US Constitution won't allow it.  Some examples you ask?  Trump not accepting a democratic election would be one....of many.

Are we talking about the Same Trump that has just seemingly accepted an election defeat ?
