It would appear France has problems following the rules

Infringement decisions 2640 records

and when we compared that to the UK Infringement decisions 2233 records

France wins more Infringement decisions against France compared to the UK

ER,,,then why all the bull and bluster fro Johnson et al trying like crazy to gte a deal?  And the support for his efforts form all the Brexiteers here and elsewhere?

Could it be that different Brexiteers voted for different Brexit outcomes?  Surely not!

Johnson and the Government are doing their own thing , they are doing what they think is best for the UK

I think you are getting confused, you have no understanding of what goes on during negotiations.

What you should do is stop reading rags that are there to stir, guess and confuse the gullible, so relax, let Boris and his team do their job, you just worry about you filling the UK cash hole...

Exactly. Bojo is not going to get access to the SM without following the rules, that would be another infringement.

At the moment the arch brexiteer is trying to shop without a mask, a bit clearer?

What are the rules that the E.U has put in placed for joining the Single market ?

You just left. Already thinking about rejoining?

We seem to be talking about access to the single market, rather than talking about re-joining the E.U

You have access to the single market as a third country. Every country has (unless there are sanctions or so, of which I’m not aware of).

https://news.sky.com/story/brexit-johnson-accused-of-a-failure-of-diplomacy-and-leadership-as-no-deal-outcome-looms-large-12156588

Boris Johnson is being accused of failure after his hopes of a Brexit meal deal in Brussels were dashed and trade talks went into extra time with a new deadline of Sunday.

His three-hour dinner with European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen ended in deadlock with "very large gaps" between the two sides, according to Downing Street.

Ms von der Leyen, who described the talks as "lively and interesting" said the two sides "remain far apart", a damning verdict that suggests a no-deal Brexit looks increasingly likely. The Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove will now face MPs in a potentially heated Commons showdown, with opposition parties condemning the threat of no deal but Tory Brexiteers relishing it.
