Children in the south of Thailand were not to be thwarted in efforts to get to school despite the devastating floods of recent days.

In the area of the village of Ban Yort Leuang in Nopphitam district of Nakhon Sri Thammarat a bridge was knocked out and repairs have yet to be completed.

To ensure schoolkids got to school for the start of term a rope zipline was set up across the river.

A video showed them making sure they got to class.

Cool!!!!  what a brilliant way to get to school. I hope the kids enjoy the experience. Something to brag about when they grow up.
