Hi. Anyone had any experience using Phuket International Health Centre in Patong as I hear the orthopaedic doctor is very good

Dr Melcher is our go-to guy for everything medical. We've been happy with him for the last six years. I am a dentist, so I know a good doctor when I meet one.

He gave me a very detailed assessment of my dodgy left knee and we decided not to replace the joint at the moment, but to wait. He could have done that surgery himself at Vachira hospital in Phuket.

He is professional, he keeps up with his continuing medical education.

Actually, maybe this is relevant to you: he told me, only a month ago, that he's planning to go to Germany in April 2021, for six months. He's going to do a course in some orthopedic specialty.

In short, I recommend him, but he will not be available for half of 2021.

He's excellent- I know a couple of people who had their knees done by him in Vachira.
