Does anyone know why the municipal water has been off the past couple days at least along my road at the Wat Suttawas end of Soi Nern Plub Wan; and when it will return...road construction...burst main line?

It was a burst main pipe; but I did not get a location. My service went out at about 4 PM on Thursday. Just returned, with a light flow, at about 10:00 this morning. The pressure has been improving slowly since then.

Our village and it isn't one of those developments an actual Thai village on the Darkside.  There was no notice and I can tell you if there were someone in our village always knows but this time none. The water has been off for two days son noticed it last night we have two extra tanks 1250 L each and they were near empty.

This morning we call asap to buy water while waiting all hell broke loose in our village yelling, screaming, neighbor was screaming at the PWA guy they had to call the police they were ready to hang the guy he ended up making a radio dispatch to someone and they started to bring in a tanker to provide free water to everyone making loud speaker announcement that wasn't enough so they brought in two fire trucks tankers.

Meantime the water trucks small and large were doing a booming business two tanks filled 2500 L, 250 baht, I felt like flipping a finger at the guy but someone beat me to the punch and threw a brink on his windshield.  No brains or they just don't care!

Sounds a bit over the top in your village...it's only ???? Some of your neighbors sound a bit unhinged. The water is now a slow pour out of my faucets now...unfortunately this while episode blew-out my waterpump so I'll have to dump B7000 on a new one.

They are over the top all Thais the reason I just go about my business each day after 15 years. To me I consider myself to be the best neighbor to anyone but as far as they are concern although I've been living in the village longer that 80% of them I will always be an outsider.

These guys sit around all day drinking, playing with their birds betting and smoking weed all day. Once they get drinking it is a matter of time they go off.  Years ago there was an uproar about water being shut off constantly this was due to the old pipes breaking since then they put in all new pipes to deliver the water but due to the drought earlier this year everyday the water was turn off, many Thais are getting by they don't have pumps or tanks just a reserve garbage can as a backup when water is turn off for days it becomes a problem.

I got a pump it was put in before all the pipes were replaced I need it today because my wife runs a number of washer and water machine outside our house also a reason for the tanks so I do keep a eye out when it gets low I make sure to turn the pump off for reason as you noted!
