Well, yes, unless you have the apparatus to do it to assure the skim is level and parallel..........."Get the angle grinder out" is a cowboy fix. ............:cowboy:

Oh, and a fan belt uses the alternator to adjust tension on most rides, no tensioner...????

My conversion to Poly-V belts on the Pontiac. Alternator tensioned one, power steering pump the other, all my own machining work too, isn't it pretty......
