Removal from office is all but impossible. I believe that It needs majority votes to do so, at 3 levels of Govt. ; the Cabinet, Senate and Congress.

I believe  Section 4 of the  25th puts it in Pence's domain to declare Trump incapacitated ( by reason of  freaken insanity ! ) which if  agreed to  by a majority of  the Cabinet would stand down Trump. The Senate only need  be  informed  of the decision .

Un informed Sir. We can for a second time impeach him for the new articles. Mitch won't start the process until January 19. Mitch will lose his majority and become the minority leader. The new majority just needs 20 Republicans to not show up for the vote.  Included in the article trump will not be allowed to ever run for another office. Stay tuned Sir.

Actually, the new Senate convened on Jan 3. Democratic control won't begin until Georgia confirms the Senatorial election victories and the  2 new Democratic senators are seated.

a wise friend says that behind the scenes, the regulars in the military would have stayed in stand down position, throughout a coup, if not for the leadership of the Generals.  scary thought. Giuliani & Trump Junior should be  prosecuted for fomenting a riot, if not for treason.

Regular troops always stand down unless receiving legal orders through their chain of command to go into action.  That's how a professional military works.

Most in the military are hard core supporters of the constitution.  They may like Trump, but they won't do anything that violates their oath to the constitution.  Some nutters for sure, but the vast majority, especially those in power, are hard core loyalists to the constitution.

There were too many terrorists who invaded the capitol under the color of law. That guy with a belt full of police zip tie loops? You don't get those unless you are connected to law enforcement.

It depends on when Georgia officially cettifies it. I realize this is not much of an answer.

I found this

Incoming U.S. Sens. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff will have to wait until Georgia’s election results are certified later this month before they can be sworn into office.

Even though both of their Republican opponents have conceded, the election results won’t be official until each of Georgia’s 159 counties and the secretary of state finalize vote counts.

Georgia law gives Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger 17 days after the election, until Jan. 22, to certify the results.
