January 10, 20215 yr Good day, I will check out from my ASQ hotel early am on 14th January. I will get my certificate from the hotel and they will take me direct to BKK airport. My home is in Phuket and I have a flight same morning from BKK to Phuket. They have announced quarantine for all incoming travellers to Phuket who come from a "Red Zone" in Thailand. Does anybody know if this also applies to people coming out of ASQ hotels in Bangkok? Many thanks.
January 10, 20215 yr At the moment, there is no hard requirement to travel to phuket. Hopefully that doesn't change by the 14th, but if it does, then you will be required to quarantine at your HOME - not some "facility" Make sure you download the morchana app, and get a letter from your ASQ hotel/hospital stating you just left that same day and that youre traveling to your home in Phuket, and proof of your covid tests and you probably won't have to do any quarantine at all. Just make sure you have the app, the letters, and the proof of covid tests and youll have no issues.
January 10, 20215 yr I see, they JUST NOW issued the statement. Same info stands. Youre clean, just keep all your documentation and proof and you can skirt all those restrictions.

January 10, 20215 yr Not sure if this applies for Phuket but here is someone report who recently left ASQ https://twitter.com/RichardBarrow/status/1347538312790040577/ and updated info on going to phuket
January 10, 20215 yr Author Hi again Richard's update above is correct. I received a reply from Phuket health authority offices just now and I will be required to quarantine at home for 14 days, regardless of coming direct from ASQ or not. I will also need the Covid test results as well as new test etc. Further, during the quarantine period I will need to report to the local hospital.
January 11, 20215 yr What does home quarantine mean? We know AsQ = locked up in a hotel room and being fed, literally. what are the do’s and don’t for home quarantine after domestic flights from a red zone? are any certifications done upon completion as is the case for ASQ?
January 11, 20215 yr Apparently as of today, sense has prevailed and no further quarantine is required. https://twitter.com/RichardBarrow/status/1348461358589775872
