However, Thais seeking clear guidance on the crisis were hit by yet another communication breakdown this week, as government messages added to the confusion spread by fake news.

The confusion broke loose at the start of 2021, when government figures delivered contradictory messages – despite the existence of the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) and its previously acclaimed spokesman Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin.

On January 3, Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha announced eight measures to control the fresh contagion.

Had he acted earlier, when the latest "wave", helped by corrupt border officials, appeared, especially with inter provincial travel over the New Year period, things would probably not be as bad as they are now.

But none of this matters, as Ive just read a headline that says the 2nd wave could be over by end of January. Only 3 weeks to go.

The communication was very clear:

1) The virus was spread by illegal casinos;

2) There are no illegal casinos;

3) Police have been suspended for allowing illegal casinos

in the main picture of the article looks like he did not want to be tested so they drew a gun out and forced him

Communication breakdown
It's always the same
I'm having a nervous breakdown
Drive me insane! Yeah!

Communication breakdowns? Is this the new catchy phrase that really means corrupt and incompetent?

Agree with you 100% on that, in fact, how many TVF members were telling the authorities to cancel The New Year & ban Interprovincial travel ?

And so much more of this could have been avoided if there were not corrupt border officials & Police officers letting illegal immigrants into the country from virus swamped countries, and illegal gambling dens.

Unfortunately those in charge didn't hear or chose to ignore what was as plain as a boil on someone's nose, chuffin buffoons the whole lot of em.

My nephew loves to draw guns. I hope it doesn't mean he'll grow up a violent person.

Should have acted on 3rd Jan 2020. As soon as this Virus emerged from China.

There's always been communication breakdown by leaders of this Country or sometimes its a miss understanding ????
