Of course there is. In my primary school classes, while I'm trying to give a lesson, I've frequently had to grab pairs of notebooks students try to conceal in their laps. The notebook on top is theirs, that they're furiously trying to fill in, the one on the bottom is someone else's. They're copying homework due for their next class. These are like 11-12 year olds.

 

Despite my efforts to thwart them, many other teachers just don't care. They start like this in primary, then continue on like this through the rest of school, thus learning a lesson integral to their culture, seeing what they can get away with.
