I'm trying to buy a set of irons for myself. I googled golf shop thailand and came across www.golfshopthailand.com and wanted to know if anybody has used their service. They seem ok, but I want to make sure I'm buying genuine products.

If you go to driving ranges and pro-shops you will find plenty of 2nd hand sets at a very good price.

I remember there was a set of Tommy Armour 855's for sale at the range at Bangna, on the other side of Sukhumvit from the RTN Course. I know they are gone now.

I also know there is a shop in Tanya Plaza near the BTS Silom that sells 2nd hand clubs from Japan

the biggest problem is that you cant often try before you buy.

if your spending 30-50K you must try them at least on a driving range and preferably on a course.

feel is very individual.

or buy second hand at Thaniya Plaza,

good sets for 10K and up.

FYI i came across another used shop recently,

going down Sukhumvit , past Ekkamai, on the left, very big range of old and some newer sets, good prices.

they will let you exchange if you dont like them.

Tee off 42 driving range is just a bit further down on the right side.

I looked for this shop on Saturday lunchtime but couldn't find it.

Can you confirm it's still there? What the opening times? Got a 'phone number?
