Expats in the SriRacha area

Recommended Posts

I am recently retired and moved from the United States to SriRacha to live with my Thai wife. I was told by a friend that a group of expats frequently meet at a coffee shop near Robinson's Mall. I would like to join the group, meet new friends, and learn from the long-stayer expats.

If I may ask, does anyone know anything about where they meet and at what time?...Thanks!

I live in the outside of Sriracha near the Nong Kho reservoir,  i was ocasionaly going for shopping in Robisson (now its very rare) but most of time there where a couple of expat i could see there. I speak the one located on the  left side part of the mail when you face it with the sukumvit road in your back, its near the entrance named "pacific park". I think the name is "enjoy coffe".

Since im a relatively far, relatively young  not retired, and my fews local Thai friends already keep me pretty  drunk busy, i have never fell the need to look for others friends , but i did take a coffe there at some point, and engaging the conversation with the others farangs there was just very easy and did feel natural.

Its should be as easy for you.

Edit:  i usualy was there from late morning to mid aftenoom.

Thank you very much for your response! I was told about that place and went there. It looked like it was closed.

No problem and sorry to heard is was closed. I havent be there recently, if its a permanent closure, only other advice i could give you is to also look inside at the S&P shop on first floor, they have set up a place to sit, drink and consume their pastery.
I did meet a retired english man and his  thai wife there at least on two occasions and i have cross him another couples of time while shooping in the food supermarket. As he seem to frequenting alot robinsson if you can catch him  he will be surely able to point you where the others expat moved. Only thing his he could be in england with his wife now, as they still have a house there and she got the britain nationality making them able to stay as they like.
