ATM withdrawl limits?
Whenever I need money to live on, I take 20,900 baht from a Bangkok Bank ATM. That's 20 x 1,000 baht notes, plus one 500 baht note and four 100 baht notes. That's a total of 29 notes from the ATM. I have never had the slightest problem taking those 29 notes from the ATM slot. Your assertion that 18 notes is difficult to remove and that the machine could not dispense more than 20 notes seems very bizarre to me in that it is totally contrary to my experience using Bangkok Bank ATMs for 17 years. -

Woke Olympics proves the world really has gone (lady)Ga Ga.
They are not trans. They are women. They cleared to compete by the IOC. They are now victims of a right wing culture wars just because of their looks. -

Cigna International Medical Insurance Domicile (worldwide cover) Question
Actually, my question is about insurance regulations & consumer protections imposed by the domicile (EU vs Guernsey) on insurance companies, which would supersede their stated general conditions. For example, EU's GDPR controls what a company, such as Google, can and can't do with an EU user's personal information, regardless of Google's corporate privacy policy. Anyone signing up for Gmail from within the EU gets the GDPR protections. I think Google paid a few billion$ to the EU for violating GDPR. https://www.compliancejunction.com/gdpr-frequently-asked-questions/ "Does GDPR Apply to non-European Union Citizens?" Just today I received an email from an AOC broker. He said they sell insurance from the EU Cigna. He also said the EU Cigna offers more consumer protections than Cigna Guernsey. Unfortunately, he gave no examples 😞 I now have the Cigna "Policy Rules" from both domiciles. Next step is to compare them for differences. (BTW I think I read a previous comment of yours, which said you switched from Cigna to April. If true, did you ever say why you switched, in a post or comment you can point me to? Thanks) -

Woke Olympics proves the world really has gone (lady)Ga Ga.
Why do the wierdos seem to be so triggered and threatened by gay people? The opening ceremonies were not my cup of tea (with the exception of Gojira) but I didn't feel like the world was coming to an end because of it either. 🤦♂️ -

Teen dies in Udon Thani train-motorcycle collision
because she was probably trying to make the crossing before the train so she didn't have to wait. It's poor emotional control at the root of much of the bad driving. -

Phuket Overstay Crackdown Nets Seven Foreign Nationals
So there's no such corruption in your home country? No lazy or incompetent people in your home beaurocricy? The only difference in Thailand is that it's no secret and everyone knows how the brown envelope economy works. -

Cheap Charlies blocked my review
I just went on Cheap Charlies Facebook site and was shocked how all of the food reviews were so positive without a single criticism (I mean it was sickening how fantastic the food apparently is, 5 stars) Now this has not been my experience after I bought the membership card that gives all daily specials at 99 baht. While it could be considered great value, I don't think any of the food has ever tasted great to me (been 4 or 5 times) Anyway, I thought I'd post that tomorrow's sirloin steak special was not very good when I had it a couple of weeks ago, but what else to expect for 99 baht and within 2 minutes I was banned from their Facebook page. Now I understand why all the posts are so positive, anything else is just banned 😆- 1

Why is Milk So Pricey In Thailand?
....And it is not even fresh milk as it never goes bad! Last time I looked closely the label said 'made from fresh milk'. I learned this years ago when going away from my apartment for a month leaving about a centimeter (so it was already a week or two old)of milk in a bottle in my fridge . When I came back. It looked okay it smelled okay and tasted okay...555. So l made a cup of tea with it and survived 555. I think it was 'Dutch Mill'. -

Woke Olympics proves the world really has gone (lady)Ga Ga.
No evidence they have or ever had penises. A test from the International Boxing Association's (IBA) confirmed that Khelif's was proven to have XY chromosomes [male] and failed the gender test. The IOC did not accept these results and simply went along with Khelif's gender as per-passport. Its not Anti-trans to suggest a person with XY chromosomes is not a a woman - its basic science. More concerning is if this athlete were to kill a female in the ring due their excessive power, as proven with elevated levels of testosterone - there would be outrage, this is dangerous to all the other competing female athletes. This is a complex issue because Khelif was reportedly born as a female but has a condition called DSD - Differences of Sex Development.... that makes her neither wholly a man, or wholly a female. BUT... these differences make her naturally more powerful and to have an competitive advantage over other 'normal females' and this un-levels the playing field and makes a sport like boxing very dangerous for other females. While it can be considered mean, Khelif's does not meet the requirements to perform as a female in physical competition - though for all other intents and purposes I think it would be fine for society to accept her as a female if she so wishes.- 1
